Policy

The College recognizes and observes the following paid holidays for all full-time, salaried, administrative employees

  1. New Year’s Day
  2. Martin Luther King Day
  3. Good Friday (half day/p.m.)
  4. Memorial Day
  5. Juneteenth
  6. Independence Day
  7. Labor Day
  8. Thanksgiving Day
  9. Day after Thanksgiving
  10. Christmas Eve Day
  11. Christmas Day
  12. Day after Christmas
  13. New Year’s Eve Day

Some employees may be required to work on a designated holiday. You will be advised by your supervisor if you are scheduled to work.

The College accommodates an employee who wishes to observe other holidays or life events by providing two floating holidays in addition to PTO and recognized holidays. Arrangements must be made through your supervisor at least least two (2) weeks in advance.

Procedure

Each year, a notice will be distributed by the Human Resources office listing the days the College will observe the above-referenced holidays. See below for this year’s holiday and limited operations schedule.
