It wasn’t the hue of the wave in the recent election that excited Elizabeth Netcher, assistant director of campus life at Albion College.

Her decades of dedication to health, safety and wellness at Albion and through the American Red Cross earned statewide recognition.

“U.S. foreign policy is stronger if it can represent the voices and the interests of all Americans,” says Dr. Carrie Booth Walling, professor of political science and faculty director of the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service at Albion College.

The College has officially become a member of the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity.

The assistant dean for student success, who joined the Albion College community seven years ago, began his work with the Cutler Center in 2019 when he joined the team that designed the Center’s mission and vision. The short description? “We’re in the business of supporting students and removing barriers to their success,” says Berry.

Albion College’s first assistant director for spiritual wellness comes into the role with big plans.

The College’s new leader for community living and student conduct says the residential experience “should be one that’s transformative and accessible to everybody.”

The Albion German professor explores Spiritual Empires in Europe and India.

A professor in Albion’s Political Science Department for 10 years, Walling brings her expertise in international politics and human rights to the College’s home for students interested in public policy and service.

The professor and chair of Albion’s Department of Earth & Environment is one of 12 inaugural AGU LANDInG Fellows.
