Paul Huth, ’77

Education: B.A., Albion College, 1977. J.D., Michigan State University. L.L.M., Wayne State University.

Dr. Paul Huth has served as a non-trustee member of the Investment Committee before joining the Albion College Board of Trustees. Huth is a 1977 alum, and earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from Michigan State and Wayne State respectively. He founded the law firm, Huth Lynett, in 1982 and also invests in real estate in the Detroit area.

Huth serves on the boards of the Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation and the Detroit Athletic Club, the Sigma Chi House Council, and is a member of the Boy Scouts Society of Eagle Scouts. He currently serves as the President of the Detroit Athletic Club Foundation which focuses on amateur athletics.

He has remained engaged with Albion College since graduation. In particular, Huth has supported the Ford Institute. He has been instrumental in facilitating visits to Detroit by Sleight Leadership students. He has also hosted students on field trip activities and served as an observer and reviewer for debates, etc. Furthermore, Huth has hired several students from Albion to serve as law clerks while in law school.

Huth’s two children, Hunter Huth and Holly Huth, M.D. are both Albion Alumni. Huth’s significant other is attorney and business owner Krystol Rappuhn.
