Josh Green, ’97

Josh Green graduated from Albion College in 1997, where he majored in chemistry and international studies. Green earned his J.D. from The George Washington University School of Law.

Green has been an Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California since 2005. Green has prosecuted international drug cartels, and cases involving fraud, public corruption, and sex trafficking. Before becoming a federal prosecutor, Green worked at the law firm Fried Frank in Washington, D.C.

Green has taught criminal law as an Adjunct Professor at the California Western School of Law since 2009. Green frequently teaches courses on trial advocacy and electronic surveillance at the United States Department of Justice’s National Advocacy Center.

Green and his wife, Jodi, live in San Diego, California. Jodi is a public defender with the County of San Diego. Josh and Jodi have three children – Jack, Calvin, and Beatrice. The Green family enjoys baseball, skiing, and camping. Green grew up in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
