Keith James is an attorney specializing in labor & employment law. His firm, KEITH JAMES, PLLC, provides highly-tailored, innovative corporate legal services to multinational corporations and law firms in the areas of crisis management, high-profile investigations, human resources advisory services and complex litigation. The start-up firm was formed following his 14 years of service at Masco Corporation, a Fortune 500 home improvement products company, and his many years in private practice with preeminent, metro-Detroit based law firms where he represented several higher educational institutions.

Albion College prepared James, early on for a career that would evolve into helping people in any way he could. He learned that as a member of the Ford Institute, when one course he took required him to serve as a City Council member, debating and addressing real-world issues. He went on to serve as vice president of Albion’s Student Senate, where he enjoyed tackling questions of human behavior and rational thought.

James credits his Albion education for making him the writer, leader and thinker he is today.

James serves as an Albion College trustee because…

…the College provides a world class  liberal arts education that has so many doors for people of all walks of life.
