A pair of volumes by Dr. Lia Jensen-Abbott aids in sharing anew the story of one of the most important African American composers.

Music and physics majors Nathaniel Jennings, ’22, and Daniel McGarry, ’22, are concluding a successful undergraduate run. 

The Music Department piano professor is using her own positive undergraduate honors experience as inspiration for leading Albion College’s Prentiss M. Brown Honors Program.

Doran, who died December 6 at the age of 86, earned a reputation as an exacting and challenging professor during his 37 years at Albion College, from 1963 to 2000.
