Project Management

  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget for all Capital Projects.
  • Selection of Professional Design Team.
  • Manage the design process to assure the needs of the User Group are addressed.
  • Assistance with Contractor qualification, bidding and contracting.
  • Manage the Project through construction and closeout.

Project Design

  • Provide architectural drawings for small- to mid-size construction projects.

Space Management

  • Support the Space Utilization Committee by serving as liaison between User Group and the Committee for project request.
  • Maintain and update CAD plans of Existing Buildings on Campus.
  • Maintain and archive completed projects in PDF format.
  • Evaluate and perform utilization and feasibility studies of existing spaces/buildings.

Signage Management

  • Manage interior and exterior signage design standards.
  • Coordinate creation or re-assignment of interior space and building numbering.
  • During ALL Construction Project signage will be assigned by Marketing and Communication and installed by Facilities in coordination with the Project Manager for the project. Other questions regarding signage should be directed to Katherine Hibbs via email at khibbs@albion.edu.

You may request a copy of a floor plan(s) from Design and Construction through the Drawing Request Form under Campus Standards/Forms.
