While Albion College takes many steps to help maintain a safe and secure campus environment, the College is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. We strongly encourage all residents to obtain renters insurance to protect their belongings against theft, fire, water damage, and other unexpected events.

Many companies offer affordable policies for college students, often as little as a few dollars per month.
Located between Mitchell Towers and Whitehouse/Seaton Hall, the gas fire pit is a great spot to relax, gather with friends, and enjoy evenings on campus.
Fire pit guidelines:
- For community use by Albion College students, faculty, and staff
- Contact your Area Coordinator for more information to reserve the fire pit
- The fire pit is available for use during the following time periods:
- Sunday-Thursday: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Friday & Saturday: 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM
