Seeking Participants for a Brief Survey Study on Perceived Ability to Cope and Kinesiophobia
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between perceived ability to cope and kinesiophobia after injury in the context of research on psychological resilience. The ~10 minute survey includes questions about whether you are a student, staff/faculty member, your age, gender, athletic status, and if you have experienced an injury in the past, including if it impacted your daily functioning, general affected region of the body, time since injury, activity restrictions, and length of recovery. There are also questions regarding feelings toward physical movement, beliefs about your ability to cope with challenges, stress-related symptoms, and your tendencies relating to passion and perseverance. This study has been approved through the IRB, and we hope to recruit as many students, faculty, and staff as possible. You must be 18 years or older to participate. Please see the Google Form link below if you have an interest in participating.
