Chili Dinner Friday, Jan. 23 is still on! Fundraiser for Albion Community Gardens

Get your boots on, dress warm, and come on out to the Albion Community Gardens annual chili dinner, 5 – 7pm, Friday, January 23rd, at St. James Episcopal Church, 119 W. Erie St., downtown Albion.

$9 gets you all the chili you can eat — there will be lots of varieties of homemade chili, and cornbread on the side. Seniors (old people seniors, not Albion College seniors) are $8, and kids 12 and under are $5. Bring an extra buck for your choice of homemade dessert.

Skip Baldwin or skip cooking and support Albion Community Gardens; we grow food to give away to people in Albion, a couple of thousand pounds every summer — raspberries, tomatoes, lettuce, collard greens, mustard greens, garlic, onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers, chili peppers, and more squash than you can imagine.

Spring isn’t here yet, but we’re all thinking about it. Come join us on Friday!
