“The Choral World Cup” comes to Goodrich on Sunday, April 12
The Albion College Concert Choir and Briton Singers are presenting their spring concert “The Choral World Cup” on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 4 pm in Goodrich Chapel on Albion’s campus, featuring music from 14 countries around the world.
“Part of being a responsible global citizen is to understand cultures from other places,” says conductor Clayton Parr, who will be leading his final concert before entering phased retirement. “We set up World Cup-style brackets so the students could choose the musical selections.” Music major Huslen Ariunbat arranged a folk song from her native Mongolia that will be sung by the Concert Choir, and senior Abigail Dombrowski arranged an Estonian song for the Briton Singers.
As always, the concert is free and open to the public. For more information contact [email protected] or call (517) 629-0481.
