Emmeline Solomon
Associate Professor, Curator of the Albion College Print Collection
Emmeline Solomon (M.F.A., Washington University in St. Louis) is a Printmaker and Bookbinder. She is interested in the mundane, the holy, their inherently interchangeable nature, folklore, superstitions, iconography, bees, people singing Robyn at a subway stop at 1am, and failure. She is a semi- recent transplant to the midwest and is therefore still at least 50% afraid of cornfields.
Emmeline is an Associate Professor of Art, Curator of the Albion College Print Collection, and has served as the Director of the Albion College First Year Seminar Program. She teaches Creative Process 2-D, Drawing, Printmaking (1-6), Books Arts, Honors Book Arts, First Year Seminar, and Professional Practices in Studio Art.
