Collin Garner

Assistant Professor of Kinesiology

After 1 semester as a Visiting Assistant Professor, Dr. Garner joined the Albion College faculty as a tenure-track faculty member in August 2024. Prior to that, he earned his Ph.D. in Education and Human Development – Exercise Science from Western Michigan University, where he also earned his master’s degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. He is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Garner has been the author or co-author of several articles and conference presentations related to the relationships between the brain, exercise, and physical and cognitive performance. He has taught Human Physiology, Physical Activity Epidemiology, Motor Learning and Development, Research & Statistics in Kinesiology, and Human Systems Anatomy.
