Stockwell Library update

Last evening around 10:50 p.m., both Albion College Campus Safety and the Albion Department of Public Safety (ADPS) responded to a smoke alarm at the Stockwell Library, which was closed at the time.

Upon investigation, it was determined that a motor in a heating element in a Tier Five lounge had failed. ADPS and Campus Safety left the building near midnight, after ensuring the alarm was reset and no smoke was present.

The Library will resume its usual schedule today and Campus Facilities will ensure the motor is repaired.
