Albion College moved to Brit Books

Good afternoon,

Albion College moved to Brit Books, a course material model that has reduced the cost of materials for students and ensures they have all their materials across all courses prior to the first day of class. It will be in place again for the Spring 2023 term.

Remind me how this program affects students?
Instead of purchasing materials a la carte, the cost is included as a course charge. The bookstore will provide each student with a convenient package of physical books and digital materials delivered directly to the LMS. The student does not need to shop around for their course materials and will have all materials prior to the first day of class.

Does it affect my courses and materials?

• There are no restrictions in the course materials you select for your course.
• All course materials, from any publisher, in your preferred format are included in the program.
• The only requirement is that your course material selections must be turned in to the bookstore by the adoption deadline.

Your next steps:

• Submit your course material selections by Dec. 15, 2022.
• If you have already submitted your book order, great! You are all set!
