Albion College AmeriCorps
Getting things done for Albion.
AmeriCorps is a national service program where you can make a real difference through community service. At Albion College, our AmeriCorps program lets you get involved in impactful projects like helping local schools, working on environmental initiatives, and supporting public health. Joining AmeriCorps is a fantastic way to grow personally and professionally while making a positive impact right here in our community!
What is AmeriCorps?
How it works:
1. Apply to join the program. Send your resume on Handshake to let us know you’re interested in becoming an AmeriCorps member. Then we will send you the application!
2. Get matched with a team. Based on your interests and skills, you’ll be placed on one of our four teams: Youth Development, Community Health, Sustainability & Food, or Program Support.
3. Enroll in a term of service. Choose a service term that works for you—options range from 100 to 450 hours.
4. Start serving. You’ll begin your placement with a local community partner and serve throughout your term, making a direct impact while gaining hands-on experience.
