Albion College led Jeff Weedman to a unique experience blend that is particularly relevant in today’s global economy. His success in senior leadership roles ranges from global giant Procter & Gamble to successful start-ups. Weedman is a former senior P&G global executive, last serving as vice president of global business development. Weedman’s team managed acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, equity investments, technology/trademark/know-how licensing, outsourcing, and P&G’s global Open Innovation efforts (Connect+Develop).

As a recognized industry pioneer in open innovation, Weedman led the program to make P&G’s internal assets available externally and search/access globally external technology and partners to accelerate P&G innovations. P&G’s Connect+Develop (C+D) program is a benchmark in open innovation and building win-win collaborative partnerships.

As founder/CEO of Cintrifuse (, Weedman led the development/creation of Cintrifuse, a Cincinnati-based innovation network designed to make the region a global destination for high-potential start-ups. Cintrifuse provides start-ups with preferred access to capital, space, and, most importantly, connections. Supported by the business, academic, and start-up communities, Cintrifuse initially raised a $55MM+ Fund of Funds, which invested in top tier Venture firms with over $600MM in investable capital. He also secured a $16MM permanent mortgage-free urban campus (circa 1880s) in the heart of Cincinnati’s urban renewal Over-The-Rhine core. Cintrifuse proactively connects the start-up with companies that could be beta customers, investors, or acquirers, with VCs with early-stage capital and mentors/services.

In the eight years since retiring from P&G., Weedman started Weedman Ventures, LLC to consult with Business Professionals & Start-ups. Weedman is also the CEO/ Co-Founder of Sus Clinicals ( in partnership with another Albion grad. Sus Clinicals has the expertise to help healthcare partners qualify drugs, devices, and diagnostics via an innovative model. Their technology has the potential to significantly reduce the time and expense of qualifying new cancer-fighting drugs and medical devices for human clinical trials.
Weedman also serves as an independent board member, angel investor, and mentor.

At Albion College, Weedman’s activities included: Sigma Chi, Student Senate (President), Economics and History Honoraries, Project 250 Award, Lacrosse (Club), and a Recent Graduate Trustee. Currently, he serves on Albion College Board of Trustees and leads the Governance and Recruiting Committee as vice-chair.
