Purple and Gold Service Award
Established in 2026, the Purple & Gold Service Award recognizes alumni and supporters whose enduring commitment and service have profoundly shaped the College community. Through a decade or more of sustained engagement, recipients exemplify the spirit of service and leadership that advances Albion’s mission and strengthens its future.
Nominations for the Purple & Gold Service Award are submitted by Albion College faculty and staff and reviewed by a staff selection committee. Final recipients are confirmed by the Office of Institutional Advancement in partnership with the Office of the President.
Eligibility Criteria
Nominees must demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of meaningful engagement with Albion College. Such engagement may include, but is not limited to:
- Service on boards, committees, or affinity groups
- Mentorship of students or recent graduates
- Support of and participation in College programs
- Advocacy on behalf of Albion College
Individuals who are current members of the Board of Trustees or Alumni Board, or who are employed by the College at the time of selection, are not eligible for this award.
Recipients of this award embody the very best of Albion College: a steadfast commitment to service, leadership, and a belief in the transformative power of an Albion education.
