Jinhyun Kim
Applied Instructor of Strings
Kim is an adjunct professor of cello at Albion College, Spring Arbor University, and Oakland University and a faculty member at the Flint School of Performing Arts. She is a registered Suzuki teacher and a member of the American String Teachers Association.
In addition to her academic roles, Jinhyun is the principal cellist of the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and assistant principal cellist of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, also she is core member of Jackson Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to her regular roles, she frequently performs as a substitute musician with the Detroit Opera and Detroit Symphony. She is also a core member of the ConTempus Initiative, a leading new music ensemble in Michigan.
