Mareike Wieth

Chair and Professor of Psychological Science, Director of Neuroscience Concentration

Mareike Wieth is a professor of psychological science and coordinator of the neuroscience concentration at Albion College, where she has taught since 2005. She earned her B.A. from Kenyon College and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Trained as a cognitive psychologist, her research examines how individual differences influence higher-order cognitive processes such as creativity, problem-solving, and decision-making. She has contributed as an expert on NPR and the BBC, and her work on creativity and time of day has been featured in numerous magazines and news outlets.
