Vagina Monologues Returns to Albion College

March 06, 2013

The "Vagina Monologues," an award-winning theatre performance that explores issues of womanhood through humorous, heartbreaking and powerful expression, will be presented by Albion College's Power feminist group. The show takes place in the Kellogg Center Thursday, March 21 at 6 p.m. and again Thursday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m.

"Monologues" was never simply for entertainment. Written with the purpose of fundraising, performances are staged each year across the country to raise funds for local domestic-violence prevention efforts. Albion College's production supports S.A.F.E Place, a women's shelter in Battle Creek.

Tickets are $3 in advance, $4 at the door. For further information or to reserve tickets, contact student organizer Ariel Farley at or the Office of intercultural Affairs, 517/629-0501.
