Celebrating the Legacy of MLK: A Day of Dialogue and Service

Monday, January 15, 2018, 9:00 a.m.

You are invited to attend the third annual Day of Dialogue and Service, celebrating the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The celebration will be held at Washington Gardner School with opportunities for community service in the afternoon.

Following the keynote address, there will be lunch and small breakout sessions for continued dialogue, facilitated by faculty, staff and community members. For more about the day's activities, please view the schedule of events.

Skot Welch, ’90, is recognized as a leader in utilizing the principles of global quality standards for the development and implementation of sustainable, systematic and measurable diversity initiatives. Location: Various rooms in Washington Gardner School

Faculty, staff and students of Albion College and Albion community members will facilitate discussion around the keynote address.

11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m.

Service Opportunities

Location: Washington Gardner School and various Albion community locations

There will be on-site and off-site service opportunities. Transportation will be provided to off-site locations. A complete list of service opportunities will be available on the day of the event.
