The assistant dean for student success, who joined the Albion College community seven years ago, began his work with the Cutler Center in 2019 when he joined the team that designed the Center’s mission and vision. The short description? “We’re in the business of supporting students and removing barriers to their success,” says Berry.

Albion College’s first assistant director for spiritual wellness comes into the role with big plans.

The College’s new leader for community living and student conduct says the residential experience “should be one that’s transformative and accessible to everybody.”

The Marilyn Crandell Schleg Archivist and Special Collections Librarian is the new director of FURSCA, one of Albion’s signature programs.

Dr. Kafui Kouakou is teaching Albion students to understand and appreciate the benefits of experiential learning not just for career success tomorrow, but also for college success today.

Krueger most recently served as the director of enrollment management services at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and has over 12 years of higher education admissions and enrollment experience.

Through Dean Woodson’s leadership, the School and its students will deeply engage with the community and be part of Albion College’s innovative approach to a liberal arts education.

The new leadership position brings together the former offices of Campus Programs and Organizations and Intercultural Affairs. “The message I keep repeating to students is that they have a voice,” says Mathis, who started in the role earlier this month.

The Albion native helps a diverse student population navigate the mental and physical challenges of today’s world.
