Apply for the Build Albion Fellows Program

Criteria

Students who are eligible for tuition remission under other Albion College programs are not eligible to apply for the Fellows program.  Students must meet the following criteria to be considered for admittance to the program:

 

  • Live within the former Albion Public Schools district
  • Admitted to Albion College as a first-year student
  • File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Must show prior service involvement in the Albion community 

 

If you do not fully meet the qualification requirements, you may still be eligible for admittance, given that enrollment space is available. For more information about the program and eligibility please contact Ari McCaskill at amccaskill@albion.edu.

Application Process

To apply for the Build Albion Fellows program, complete the following steps:

 

  1. Apply to Albion College and be accepted as an admitted student.
  2. File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  3. Meet with Skip Zabel, Associate Director of Student Financial Services.
  4. Interview with members of the Build Albion Bonner Fellows program committee. 

Application Cycle 2023-24

  • September 23, 2023: Visit Day
  • November 15, 2023: Albion College application deadline
  • February 1, 2024: FAFSA deadline
  • March 1, 2024: Deadline for meeting with Skip Zabel in Financial Aid
  • March 8, 2024: Build Albion Fellow application deadline
  • March 19, 2024: Build Albion Fellow interviews
