Apply for the Build Albion Bonner Fellows Program
Criteria
Students who are eligible for tuition remission under other Albion College programs are not eligible to apply for the Fellows program. Students must meet the following criteria to be considered for admittance to the program:
- Live within the former Albion Public Schools district
- Admitted to Albion College as a first-year student
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Must show prior service involvement in the Albion community
If you do not fully meet the qualification requirements, you may still be eligible for admittance, given that enrollment space is available. Please contact the Program Director to learn more about program eligibility.
Application Process
To apply for the Build Albion Bonner Fellows program, complete the following steps:
- Apply to Albion College and be accepted as an admitted student.
- File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Meet with Skip Zabel, Associate Director of Student Financial Services.
- To schedule a meeting with Skip, please call (517) 629-0440.
- Interview with members of the Build Albion Bonner Fellows program committee.
Application Cycle 2022-2023
- August 19, 2022: BABF Information Program
- November 1, 2022: Albion College Application
- December 1, 2022: FASFA Help Session
- December 5, 2022: FAFSA must be filed
- February 15, 2023: Meet with Financial Aid
- March 15, 2023: Build Albion Bonner Fellows Application Due
- March 23, 2023: BABF Interview
- April 7, 2022: Notice of Selection
