As of 2016, one in five colleges has issued digital badges, according to the results of a survey by the University Professional Continuing Education Association and Pearson.

Innovation Badges provide credentials for co-curricular events, experiences, lectures, and activities that have established learning outcomes. Badges encourage students to increase participation and transition required workshops and training to asynchronous or hybrid formats, giving students more flexibility and giving staff and faculty more time.

Badges allow us to document co-curricular learning and skill development responsive to market trends, incentivize staff and faculty to explore new interests, and support interdisciplinary exploration, as with 3D Printing and Sustainable Living.

You’re more than just your major and minor. Innovation Badges enhance your liberal arts college experience and connect you to some of the most transformative opportunities that Albion College has to offer.
