Of special note is the returning much-loved Lessons and Carols on December 5 at 7 p.m., which will be livestreamed on the College’s YouTube channel. The performance is a holiday celebration put on by the Albion Concert Choir and the Briton Singers.

Faculty Highlight: Helena Mesa

“I can’t imagine not writing and I can’t imagine not teaching,” says professor of English Dr. Helena Mesa in her faculty profile. Her love of writing came later than for most, beginning in her senior year of college. Once the spark ignited, Mesa developed a passion for poetry and for teaching. She encourages students to celebrate their development as writers, and helps them discover an appreciation for poetry.
