“There is a season to when presidents leave and when they are hired,” said trustee Brian McPheely, ’78, chair of the Presidential Search Committee, which is currently gathering input from a wide range of stakeholders and identifying an external search firm. “We are fortunate because we have an outstanding interim president, Joe Calvaruso, who is willing to stay in that role until we find the right candidate.”
The first woman to chair the Albion College Board of Trustees talks about her expanded role. “With every interaction, I am honored that I get to give back to my alma mater, the place that shaped me,” she says.
