Albion College Welcomes Jamie Krueger As Chief Enrollment Management Officer

Krueger most recently served as the director of enrollment management services at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and has over 12 years of higher education admissions and enrollment experience.

Albion College, one of the top 50 innovative liberal arts colleges in the country, announced today the hiring of Jamie Krueger, who will lead the Division of Enrollment Management as Chief Enrollment Management Officer. Albion College President Dr. Mathew Johnson made the announcement.

“Jamie is an exceptionally motivated and influential leader who is extremely passionate about driving meaningful change in higher education,” said Johnson. “She exhibits a strong commitment to institutional diversity and fostering an equitable and inclusive environment and will play a critical role in reinforcing the College’s pledge to become a true place of belonging through compassionate communication and strategic outreach efforts.”

Krueger most recently served as the director of enrollment management services at the Wayne State University School of Medicine and has over 12 years of higher education admissions and enrollment experience. Her areas of expertise include policy writing, diversity recruitment, financial aid administration, marketing, accreditation standards, customer relationship management, resource management and budget development.

“I am eager to develop Albion’s enrollment process and help current and prospective students uncover new opportunities to further their education,” said Krueger. “Albion’s desire to create an environment that fosters belonging caught my eye instantly and I look forward to working with Dr. Johnson, his cabinet and the College’s enrollment team to achieve this goal.”

In her new role at Albion, Krueger will lead the Office of Admission and Financial Aid Office to recruit and retain a highly diverse student body and support the development of institutional capacity to recruit graduate and non-traditional students. She will be responsible for developing innovative domestic and international recruitment strategies, intensifying the use of technology and optimizing the overall enrollment process.

Krueger graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration from Central Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a doctorate of education from the University of Dayton and seeking formal recognition of her skill set through the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers Strategic Enrollment Management Endorsement Program.
