Albion is invited to join a culinary trip across Latin America, as Albion College's dining services present Latin Food Night Tuesday, October 25, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in Baldwin Hall, located on Hannah Street between East Michigan and East Erie Streets. The dinner is part of Albion College's Latino/a Heritage Month celebration.
The all-you-can-eat menu features a variety of dishes, including Brazilian feijoada, Cuban potaje, Puerto Rican pernil, Mexican enchiladas, ceviche, papaya cheesecake, pumpkin flan and more.
"We recognize the great power and importance of food. Dining rooms are gathering places. Breaking bread together helps to create a sense of community and comfort," said David Lauffer, general manager for Bon Appetit, the College's food service provider. "It is our privilege to partner with the Organization For Latina/o Awareness to sponsor this special event."
The price for dinner is $10; Albion College employees can purchase dinner for $5, and guests accompanied by Albion College employees eat for $6. Reservations are not required. For more information, contact Pat Miller, or
