College Exceeds Giving Tuesday Donor Goal

Albion College’s first foray into the national Giving Tuesday initiative hit its target and then some. With the national holiday season day-of-giving campaign falling on December 3 this year, the Office of Annual Giving set a goal of 123 donors on 12/3.

Albion College's "Keep Calm and Get Your BritON" was the Excellence in Design gold winner in the 2013 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District V "Pride of CASE V" awards. The College also received two bronze awards, for Best Institutional Website and Best Electronic Newsletter.

Matthew vandenBerg Named Associate VP of Development

Albion College has announced the appointment of Matthew vandenBerg as associate vice president for development. VandenBerg, who is currently assistant dean for development and alumni relations at the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing, will join the College’s Office of Institutional Advancement on January 13, 2014.

Major Gift Advances Albion College Soccer/Lacrosse Project

A $500,000 gift has given new impetus to Albion College’s fund drive for Phase II of the planned improvements in its outdoor athletic facilities, expected to cost $3 million. The gift, which came in August from anonymous donors, will support the construction of a new soccer/lacrosse complex.
