Poetry Month Celebrated with Annual Fest

March 11, 2013

The Albion College Library will celebrate National Poetry Month with its annual Poetry Fest on Thursday, April 11, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., in the Stockwell-Mudd Library's Wendell Will Room. An "open mic" format offers everyone the opportunity to share an original work or favorite poem.

"Intermission prize drawings, delicious refreshments, and a grand finale that features a campus 'celebrity couple' are popular traditions," says event organizer Marion Meilaender. "Appreciative listeners are vital too."

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Marion Meilaender at or 517-629-0499.
