Animals on Trial Arraigned for February Odd Topic

The next Odd Topics Society meeting will be Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m. in the Mary Sykes Room. The featured speaker will be Marie Baxter, '87. The title of her presentation is "This Little Piggy's in Jail: Animal Trials in European History"

Marie Baxter has multiple connections to Albion College. She graduated in Albion’s class of 1987. Following her graduation she later became and still is a visiting assistant professor in the Albion College History Department.

Friends of the Albion College Library sponsors Odd Topics, presented on a monthly basis at Albion College.  The discussions are open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.  The charge for the lunch is $5 to $7, and reservations are not required.  For more information, please contact Cheryl Blackwell at the Stockwell-Mudd libraries at 517-629-0447 or .
