Congratulations Sue Trine, for being awarded the Dining & Hospitality Services Employee of the Month for September 2007. Sue has worked for Albion College since 1982. That’s 25 years of working in fast-paced dining operations where every meal period is an urgent deadline. Sue is currently responsible for many aspects of the salad bar in Lower Baldwin, Mary Sykes Room and catering functions. Sue is warm and friendly and always willing to be a team player. Kellie Williamson has been employed in Facilities Operations for over 20 years, first as the department secretary, then as payroll clerk, and currently as the Office Manager. Working in the Facilities Operations office takes a very special kind of person who can work amid the chaos of 5 in-coming phone lines, two radio systems, and a reception desk for contractors and visitors of all kinds plus the demands of the supervisory staff. During this past summer the department secretary was out for over 6 weeks due to illness leaving Kellie to manage a 7 to 5 office operation. Not only did she rise to the challenge but came in to do payroll after she had been hospitalized for surgery. Kellie's experience and dedication to Facilities Operations and Albion College is an inspiration to all of us. Linda Neal has been with Albion College since July 1999. She is a familiar face on campus due to her role in Human Resources as well as filling in at the Post Office when needed. Not only does she assist us with HR information, she coordinates the campus-wide employee recognition program every year. Recently, in light of our previous HR Director leaving for a new position, Linda has stepped up in her absence and took the lead to ensure all Human Resource services kept going along seamlessly. She has done an excellent job! Linda is a wonderful example of the “anything to get the job done” attitude that is indicative of Albion College. Congratulations Linda!
