Public Health Seminar Series: Anjelica Dunlap & Katilyn Simmons
Anjelica Dunlap has spent the past three years as an intensive care unit nurse in the medical ICU at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit. During this time, she has obtained her Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification and has been accepted into nurse anesthesia school. Kaitlyn Simmons is a clinical nurse in the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Kaitlyn Simmons, RN, BSN, PCCN is Clinical Nurse III at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on a Vascular Surgery/COVID progressive care unit. She serves as the Core Charge Nurse where she coordinates staffing and patient-flow and assists with patient care on a high-acuity surgical unit. In the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, her unit was the first to be converted to provide care for patients with COVID-19. During that time, Kaitlyn acted as the charge nurse, responsible for coordinating nurses from multiple units to work together to provide care for COVID patients.
