Albion’s Annual 'Thriller' Mob Invites Dancers (Monday, October 23, 2017 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm)

Dozens of participants and a few zombies will rise up for Albion’s now annual “Thriller" dance mob Monday, October 31, at 7 p.m. in Albion College's Quadrangle, located on Cass Street between Huron and Hannah Streets (parking available on Cass and Huron Streets).

The performance is a live recreation of Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” video. Audience members should be on the Quadrangle by 7:10 p.m., as the performance is less than 10 minutes long.

Several classes will be held for anyone wishing to be part of the performance. It is necessary to attend just one class in order to learn the dance.

The first community “Thriller” dance, held in 2015, included more than 60 participants, including schoolchildren, community members and a visitor from Florida. The success of the event prompted organizers to host it again in 2016 and this year.

The "Thriller" event is free and open to the public. Online tutorials of the choreography are also available. For more information, see or contact Harnish at , 517/629-0309.
