Filmmakers and film fans gather in Albion's Bohm Theatre, 201 S. Superior St., on Sunday, February 23, for the fourth annual Albion College Film Festival. The show begins at noon, with prizes awarded after all films have been shown.
This year's event includes 10 short films from filmmakers from around Michigan. Immediately following the screenings, a reception will be held at the Ludington Center, 101 N. Superior St., during which visitors will be able to meet the filmmakers.
Previous festival entries have ranged from documentary to horror to travelogue, done by filmmakers from across the community and across the state.
The event is free, but donations will be accepted on behalf of Harrington Elementary School. For more information on submitting a film, contact Albion College's Honors Program Assistant Director Renee Kreger at rkreger at albion.edu.
