Directed by Albion College Senior Savannah Manning, TOPDOG/UNDERDOG is a darkly comic fable of brotherly love, family identity, and the black experience in America. Lincoln and Booth are two brothers whose names were given to them as a joke, foretelling a lifetime of sibling rivalry and resentment. CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE.

Admission is FREE for students & faculty with current Albion ID, all others $5.

Albion's 2018 Big Read KICK-OFF

Kick off Albion's 2018 Big Read at Holland Park/West Ward with live music, circus performers, food vendors, community organizations, and more! Our annual PARADE will begin at 1pm at City Hall and head west for Holland Park.

Coy James Lecture/Inaugural Big Read Lecture: ILYASAH SHABAZZ

Join us for the 2018 Coy James Lecture/Inaugural Big Read Lecture. This event will include a reading by and public interview with Ilyasah Shabazz, co-author of Albion’s 2018 Big Read book and daughter of Malcolm X. There will also be performances by a number of local artists.

Albion's Big Read CELEBRATION!

Come celebrate the amazing work of the 2018 Big Read leaders and hear from novelist Kekla Magoon, an NAACP Image Award winner and co-author of this year’s Big Read book, X: a Novel. Ms. Magoon will be talking about the power and beauty of literature and young people.
