Albion Night at the Races

Date: June 2013
Duration: All Day

Join Albion College in the Bluegrass State, June 14-16!

Experience more than a century of grand tradition and spectacle at two distinctly different yet equally magnificent racetracks. This exclusive weekend trip begins on Friday with a guided tour followed by an elegant meal at the pristine facilities of Keeneland—a national historic landmark ranked the No. 1 racetrack by the Horseplayers Association. After a deluxe motor coach ride to Louisville, you'll check into the historic Brown Hotel, a luxurious four-diamond hotel in the heart of Louisville's Theatre District.

On Saturday, you'll have the opportunity to explore the city or take an optional tour to the Heaven Hill Distillery and Old Talbott Tavern. Saturday's activities will culminate with the "Downs After Dark" races at Churchill Downs, viewed from the comfort of the Millionaires Row dining room and connecting balcony overlooking the racetrack. Discover the best of the Bluegrass while enjoying the company of fellow members of the Albion family.

This event will be hosted by Tom Jenkins, '85, vice president of Churchill Downs, Inc., and Connie Van Onselder, '84, vice president/CFO of Keeneland Association, Inc.
