DESCRIPTION:It’s never too early to start preparing for next season! As you begin to plan your summer schedule we would like you to consider bringing your team to Albion College for one of our Summer 2022 Team Shootouts. Our shootouts provide a great opportunity for you and your team to be able to compete and gain valuable game experience. \nRegister Today\nWe are offering three sessions this year\, June 16\, June 24\, June 25\, choose as many sessions that fit your schedule. In each session\, you will also have you an opportunity to take part in the overtime tournament following the last game of your team’s session. This is a great teaching tool for both you and your players. All of your games will be played either in our Dow Fieldhouse\, or on our home floor in Kresge Gymnasium. \nThis would also be an excellent opportunity to have several of your athletes seen by the Albion College coaching staff. \nCamp Costs\nTeams may register for more than one camp. \n\n1 camp: $215\n2 camps: $360\n3 camps: $540\n\nEach session consists of:\n\n3 Games + Overtime Tournament\nFirst game will start between 9 a.m. & 10 a.m. depending on the number of teams.\nOvertime tournament at the end each session.\nPlayers and Coaches will be responsible for their own meals.\nThe shootouts are open to Varsity Teams Only (We will open it to JV teams if we get enough interest).\nA Certified Trainer will be on hand at all times.\nAt least one certified official per court (each court will have at least 2 referees).\nGames will be played at Kresge Gymnasium and the Dow Recreation Facility.\n\n

DESCRIPTION:The holiday season is just around the corner\, and with it comes “Lessons and Carols”\, a holiday festival featuring the Albion College Concert Choir and Briton Singers. \nThe Service of Nine Lessons and Carols was designed by Archbishop E. W. Benson for use in the cathedral at Truro\, England. The first formal event was held there on Christmas Eve\, 1880. The service was later simplified and modified for use in King’s College Chapel\, Cambridge\, in 1918 by the Very Reverend Eric Milner-White\, who was Dean of the Chapel at that time. The late David L. Strickler introduced the service to Albion College in 1966 and it has been a cherished tradition ever since. \nThis performance is free and open to the public.
