DESCRIPTION:History club is open to any student who has an interest in discussing\, learning about\, and participation in activities related to historical events and people. History club activities include doing jeopardy\, murder mysteries\, historical debates\, analyzing the historical inaccuracies in videos\, and presentations among other activities. The club covers a broad range of history from all parts of the world and across different time periods. It is a great way to have fun\, expand your knowledge\, and get to know new people. Through news and situational comedies\, Black and Brown people have been depicted in ways that have shaped the broader cultural landscape of a nation. Some images and narratives are ahistorical and stereotypical\, while others are reflective and impactful. All of which informed how society viewed the lives\, and cultural aesthetics of those they had little interaction with in everyday life.
