Strickler Endowed Concert Series.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chicago a cappella was created in 1993 with the vision of bringing together a small group of fiercely talented singers to celebrate every genre of music imaginable with equal passion and commitment.&#160;&#160;&#160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Chicago a cappella&#8217;s season includes concerts in Chicago and its suburban communities, as well as special performances and informal events.&#160; Beyond performances, Chicago a cappella pursues its mission of furthering the art and appreciation of ensemble singing with other programs and activities, including &#161;Cantar&#233;! Chicago, which brings an artist from Mexico to be composer-in-residence in Chicago schools, and HerVoice, which mentors and promotes emerging women composers.&#160;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The ensemble has released 10 recordings, including its latest, Miracle of Miracles on the Cedille Records label.
