The assistant dean for student success, who joined the Albion College community seven years ago, began his work with the Cutler Center in 2019 when he joined the team that designed the Center’s mission and vision. The short description? “We’re in the business of supporting students and removing barriers to their success,” says Berry.
In her new role, Chief Belonging Officer and Title IX Coordinator Keena Williams is leading the College’s journey to a place where everyone not only has a seat at the table, but “everybody’s heard at the table, everybody has ownership at the table.”
With nearly 20 years of experience working with students in a higher education setting, Detroit native Leroy Wright has been named Albion College’s new vice president for student development and dean of students. Wright, who has been associate vice chancellor for student affairs at Appalachian State University in North Carolina since 2016, will begin his duties at Albion on July 1.
