Federico Fridman

Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish

Federico Fridman received his Ph.D. in Romance Studies with a specialization in Latin American Studies from Cornell University and holds a B.A. in Political Science with a specialization in Political Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires. His research explores questions of community in Latin American literature, aesthetics, politics, and in connection to the development of technology and the climate crisis. His the editor of Macedonio Fernández: Between Literature, Philosophy, and the Avant-Garde (Bloomsbury, 2022) and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals such as the Bulletin of Hispanic Studies (2022); Revista de Estudios Hispánicos (2018); Mexican Studies/Estudios Mexicanos (2018), among other.
