Allyssa McGuire

Allyssa McGuire (pronouns: she/her/hers) is currently a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University, pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.

Allyssa utilizes a flexible, person-centered approach to tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs. She aims to understand her clients as a whole person and help foster a better understanding of themself and sense of self-compassion. Allyssa has experience working with college students in various capacities, helping make her familiar with the unique challenges present during this period of life. She is passionate about helping individuals productively cope with mental health concerns and life’s stresses. Allyssa is both excited and determined to provide clients with compassionate and non-judgmental care.
