Albion College Theatre Performance of INTIMATE APPAREL by Lynn Nottage

Location: Herrick Black Box Theatre (In the Dow Center)

Synopsis: The time is 1905, the place New York City, where Esther, a black seamstress, lives in a boarding house for women and sews intimate apparel for clients who range from wealthy white patrons to black prostitutes. Her skills and discretion are much in demand, and she has managed to stuff a good sum of money into her quilt over the years.

Admission is $5 or free with Albion College ID.

The Whitehouse Nature Center offers guests the chance to learn about nature as well as explore the ecosystem of the Kalamazoo River with several beautiful nature trails. Trails open from dawn to dusk.

Hear inspirational stories from Albion College Alumni in a TEDx-style event. Students, alumni, faculty and staff are welcome. Join for a reception following the talks to meet and ask questions of the speakers.

Networking Reception and Ludington Center Open House to follow. Meet Staff and Students from Gerstacker, Ford and Wilson Institutes and the Career and Internship Center and explore the new offices and spaces available to students and the community.

The Lisa and James Wilson Institute for Medicine welcomes all alumni, parents, and friends to our homecoming open house. Come learn about the Wilson Institute and meet current faculty, staff, and students. Light refreshments will be served.

Alumni Lounge (ALL CLASS YEAR REUNION)

Location: Quadrangle

If you haven't made it home to Albion for a reunion, don't wait another five years. Gather your classmates from ANY year and join in the fun! All class years are invited. Find classmates in designated meet-up spots for the different decades, reminisce about your time on campus, and enjoy music from the various decades. A cash bar will be located in the vicinity. This space will feature comfortable, charming seating areas conducive to hanging out for the day. The afternoon (4 – 7 p.m.) will feature spontaneous performances showcasing Albion College points of pride. (This will be large, covered and comfortable space, rain or shine.) Adult beverages served: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., 4 – 7 p.m.

Alumni Band Rehearsal

Location: Goodrich Chapel

The British Eighth Marching Band and Alumni Band will rehearse Saturday morning at Goodrich Chapel. During the football game, both bands will play in the stands and on the field at halftime. All former marching band members are welcome to participate. Many school instruments are available on a first-come first-served basis.

Cheer on the Britons! The halftime program will feature the Homecoming Court, the British Eighth, and the Alumni Band. Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $5.
