Kappa Deltas Invite Community to 'National Women's Friendship Day'
ALBION, Mich. — Sisterhood takes center stage Sept. 21, as Albion College's Kappa Delta (KD) Sorority joins KDs across the country in celebrating National Women's Friendship Day. The KDs invite all community members to bring their female buddies to an event on Albion College's Quadrangle from 1 to 3 p.m. The afternoon will include a variety of friendship-affirming activities and refreshments will be served.
In 1999, the national Kappa Delta Sorority created National Women's Friendship Day, to be held on the third Sunday in September, as a time for all women to acknowledge the importance of women friends. It has been recognized by the governors of 34 states, and is promoted by national companies including Avon, Maidenform and General Foods.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Gulledge at .
