The Office of the Registrar is responsible for providing quality and timely services to students and alumni regarding their academic records. These services aid students, faculty, staff and alumni in fulfilling our mission. The office provides information that assists the college in evaluation and assessment of its academic programs and requirements. The Office of the Registrar certifies that students have fulfilled all graduation requirements, issues academic transcripts, registers students for courses, evaluates transfer credit, and schedules classrooms.
The office is located on the first floor of the William C. Ferguson Student, Technology, and Administrative Services Building.
Beginning Monday, August 24, students may elect to switch some or all of their Fall 2020 semester courses to Credit/No Credit grading instead of numeric grading. The deadline to switch Fall 2020 courses (both A and B Modules) to CR/NC is Tuesday, November 24 (last day of Fall 2020 semester). Instructions for requesting the switch to CR/NC are below. By extending the option for Credit/No Credit grading, C&RC hopes to reduce the student stress while allowing students to complete program and degree programs. Students may decide to continue with the numeric grade option in their Fall 2020 courses. CR/NC grading option may be the best option for some students, depending on individual circumstances.
Fall 2020 Semester exceptions to the Credit/No Credit Policy
The Curriculum & Resources Committee has provided some exceptions to the current CR/NC grading options:
Below is a link to the online form. Submit this form indicating which courses you would like to switch to CR/NC. That’s all you need to do. If you do not submit this form by 8:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on Tuesday, November 24, your courses will remain in numeric grade (4.0 – 0.0) mode.
** The deadline to switch Fall 2020 courses to CR/NC is Tuesday, November 24. Late requests WILL NOT be processed. **
