Our Weekly Review Sessions for the following courses have moved online via Google Meet. Each week you can join one of the reviews multiple ways. Click on the Google Hangout Meet link to join the session, paste the link into your Chrome web browser, or call the phone number to listen in on your cellular device. The QSC maintains peer tutoring for Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Economics, and Chemistry.
Peer tutoring is an active-learning and guided practice approach for students to interact with other peers, through individual or group instruction. It is supplemental to the teaching that takes place in the classroom and does not replace attending class, weekly office hours, or specific course curriculum. We strongly encourage you to always make use of faculty office hours for individualized instruction.
Peer tutors have often had the same class with the same instructor. They understand the potential roadblocks to success from a student standpoint. Students may find it easier to talk about difficulties they are having in a class and often develop a sense of partnership with a peer tutor.
