Susanne is excited to be part of Albion's Theatre Department as the Costume Shop Supervisor. She has worked professionally as a Wardrobe Supervisor, Stitcher, Draper, Assistant Designer, and Freelance Costume Designer in many professional theaters. She designed costumes for a traveling children's show, Herman the Horse: A Healthy Tail, and Skylight Music Theatre's new version of Wagner's Ring Cycle. Susanne's designs for the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee include Orpheus in the Underworld, Old Maid and the Thief, and Slow Dusk with Director Kurt Ollmann. She has worked on many productions for the Skylight Music Theatre, Madison Rep, Armory Dinner Theatre, and the Fireside Theatre. In addition to professional design, she taught for five years at Mount Mary University, teaching classes in Clothing Production, Draping, Tailoring, and History of Fashion. Susanne has a tailoring degree from the Bekleidungsfachschule in Aschaffenburg, Germany. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, she received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Fashion from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
