Ms. DiRado graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in December of 2014. While at Syacuse, she interned with several organizations: Center for Community Alternatives, Office of the Federal Public Defender, Knox County Public Defender's Community Law Office (CLO) - through Gideon's Promise, and the Syracuse Law Criminal Defense Clinic.
After graduating she returned to Knoxville, Tennessee and took and passed the Tennessee Bar in February of this year. She returned to the CLO in April as a Law Clerk and was hired as an Assistant Public Defender in July. Through the CLO she was able to attend Gideon's Promise Core 101 Summer Institute Training and am a member of the Class of 2015. Gideon's Promise is dedicated to strengthening indigent criminal defense in the South through training of public defenders and advocacy.
