Grosse Pointe native Ross Muniga, '15, will soon wrap up a busy summer at Mercedes-Benz's U.S. headquarters in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area. Since May he's been a part of the cross-functional team that supports operational buyers in the Americas, corresponding with staff around the globe. He was able to secure the competitive internship in part through the efforts of Brooke Kaltz, '05, a strategic projects manager for the German automaker. Both are members of Albion College's Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management.

Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management, reflects on the practical experiences he has gained to make him a marketable candidate when he pursues management jobs in the manufacturing industry after graduation. He has balanced these activities with the considerable investment of time and energy it takes to be a top performer in the swimming pool.

Michalec, '15, Is on the Books with Phillies Internship

"When I was dropped off in Philadelphia this past September, I had no apartment and no internship," says junior Meredith Michalec, a business and organizations and accounting double major. "However, I knew the Philadelphia Center has provided great internships to a lot of Albion students. I am an accounting intern with the Philadelphia Phillies and I absolutely love it."

For McClorey, '15, a Business Plan in France and a Plan for Law School

Junior Caitlin McClorey, fresh off a summer internship at Valassis, a Detroit-area marketing company, was among a group of students in Albion’s Carl A. Gerstacker Institute for Business and Management who traveled to Paris in October for a week of intensive work on business plans with students from École Supérieure De Vente (SDV), a French business school.
